Watch out Harry Potter! Vampires are the new wizards and Stephanie Meyers is the new J.K. Rowling. Since the book’s first release in 2005, fans have increased in numbers and today’s overwhelming response in San Francisco’s Stonestown Galleria has proved just that. An expected 500 fans turned into 3,000 for a Hot Topic book signing tour with the film’s British hearthrob, Robert Pattinson. Bodies were bruised and bitches were tamed. From goth girls to die-hard mothers, people traveled as far as Hawaii to get a glimpse of this bad boy’s crooked smile. It’s mayhem at its worst and to think, they’ve only just begun.
Twilight will be featured in Entertainment Weekly November 14th, Vanity Fair and Empire Magazine in the month of December.
Movie Releases November 21st. Be prepared…bring a helmet.
