Twilight Mania
Watch out Harry Potter! Vampires are the new wizards and Stephanie Meyers is the new J.K. Rowling. Since the book’s first release in 2005, fans have increased in numbers and today’s overwhelming response in San Francisco’s Stonestown Galleria has proved just that. An expected 500 fans turned into 3,000 for a Hot Topic book signing tour with the film’s British hearthrob, Robert Pattinson. Bodies were bruised and bitches were tamed. From goth girls to die-hard mothers, people traveled as far as Hawaii to get a glimpse of this bad boy’s crooked smile. It’s mayhem at its worst and to think, they’ve only just begun.
Twilight will be featured in Entertainment Weekly November 14th, Vanity Fair and Empire Magazine in the month of December.
Movie Releases November 21st. Be prepared…bring a helmet.

Zack and Miri Make A Porno
Starring Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks
Haven’t seen it yet? Do it now. Directed by Kevin Smith, it’s a potty-mouthed love story about sex and more sex. Rogen and Banks star as the lovable Zack and Miri on the quest to get money by any means necessary. With barely enough money to keep a roof on top of their heads, they found a solution to their problems within the porn industry. Inspired by the hilarious gay persona played by Justin Long, it becomes thier investment, the fastest way to pay all their debts. However, Kevin Smith has a knack for sweetly combining moments of genuine affection in the most awkward situations. For their entire lives, these destined roomates have kept each other in the friend zone until now. It’s everything a corny critic would say from heartwarming and delightful. Call it a dirty mind with a mix of good humor. Laughs. Love. Porn. Who could ask for more?

Black President

“Yes We Can … Change the World (Change the World )
(They Said!)

What’s the black pres. thinkin’ on election night
Is it how can I protect my life?
Protect my wife?
Protect my rights?
Every other president was nothin’ less than white
Except Thomas Jefferson and mixed Indian blood
and Calvin coolers
KKK is like ‘what the fuck’, loadin’ they guns up
loadin’ mine too, Ready to ride
Cause im ridin with my crew
He dies - we die too
But on a positive side,
I think Obama provides Hope - and challenges minds
Of all races and colors to erase the hate
And try and love one another, so many political snakes
We in need of a break
Im thinkin’ I can trust this brotha
But will he keep it way real?
Every innocent n!gga in jail - gets out on appeal
When he wins - will he really care still?
I feel …”

Rock the Vote!

Once every four years, we have the opportunity to make a difference. Not just any difference, but a change that may affect our country for the next coming years. It’s a decision for the well-informed, not the easily swayed; for the independent thinker not the ignorant bystander. Last time, we voted George W. Bush and saw more SNL skits than country improvements. Years before that, our Noble Prize Winner, Al Gore lost to the same man because a recount was prohibited by congress. Well, progress and hope have reigned these campaigns and today is the first day of many. Change is possible if you make it possible and just like everyone else, i’m a believer. One out of many, my voice is simple but loud. I will not let my country’s struggle die in vain and I will not watch in times of action. November 4, 2008. Rock the Vote!
